Hi, My Exchange 2003 server running on cluster 2003. I have an issue when try to create group email in exchange 2003 in ADUC in passive node. On the Active node ADUC not have any problem at all. Error window when create group email. Error message box. The server is not operational. Facility : Win32. ID no : 8007203a. Microsoft Active Directory - Exchange Extension Please help. jaie

I would check DNS settings on the server NIC and ensure the System Attendant service is running.

Hi Andy, Thanks for the reply. By default system Attendant services is stop on passive node and only started at active node. The DNS setting on the server have no issue. Please advise. jaie

Thanks for the reply, but the problem solved after i move the exchange services to the passive node. The the ADUC on the passive node can create the group email. Weird?jaie

Now the System Attendant is running on that node yes?

yes. the sys attendant running on the server 01. previously running on the server 02, the ADUC on the server 01 unable to create grp email.jaie
